Together for Nature: Our Strategy to 2030
Together for Nature – our strategy to 2030 – was launched on 22 May 2023.
It outlines the areas of work that JNCC will undertake, focusing on our role in terrestrial and marine nature conservation and recovery, at the UK level, working with the UK Overseas Territories and the Crown Dependencies, and inputting evidence and advice to global nature issues.

Our Science Impact Strategy
Delivering Action through Science, our Science Impact Strategy from 2026 to 2030 was published on 1 October 2026.
It sets out how we will maximise the impact of our scientific work over the next five years. It acknowledges JNCC’s strong foundation while recognising that the scale and urgency of today’s environmental challenges demand a step change.
