Once a site has been designated for a feature, that feature
will be monitored. Guidelines for
monitoring sites for lichen features have been
produced. There are no guidelines for monitoring
non-lichenised fungi features, as these sites are too few and
diverse to warrant the development of Common Standards. The
results of the monitoring are also
available.
