Climate Change Adaptation, Mitigation and Ecosystem Services in
the UK Overseas Territories
JNCC staff met representatives from the EU’s 7 Outermost Regions
(ORS) and 21 Overseas Countries and Territories (OCTs) at The
European Union and its Overseas Entities: Strategy to counter
Climate Change and Biodiversity Loss conference, hosted on Reunion
Island. The conference aim was to enhance and reinforce
actions relating to climate change adaption, sustainable energy,
biodiversity conservation and ecosystem management. It
proposed new strategies and action programmes to address these
issues across the EU’s overseas entities and the regions that
surround them. More information on
