Seabirds in 2008 is now available: the
latest results from the Seabird Monitoring Programme and an
assessment of the pressures seabirds face. Note: this edition
covers both 2007 and 2008.
The SMP
Annual Report, Seabird numbers and breeding
success in Britain and Ireland, has been produced annually
since 1990. It is a detailed synthesis of monitoring results at
major colonies throughout the British Isles. The latest edition of
this report, covering the breeding season in 2006, is
available to download. Note that the 2006 edition of the report is
the last paper version to be published; future in-depth results
from the SMP will be available online.
